Absorbent crosspieces are suitable for every case of incontinence, both urinary and fecal, for bedridden patients. It is not wearable, but can be placed between patient, support, and it guarantees personal hygiene. Its external part is made of soft polyethylene, non-toxic and waterproof which acts as an insulating barrier. The absorbing area is made of pure cellulose, uniformly distributed and firmly joined to the cover so that it is all compact. Inner surface is fully covered by a layer of hypoallergenic non-woven fabric. Its structure determines an efficient liquid retention.
