Horn Buttons

Buttons made of water buffalo horns. Button rounds are cut and drilled to obtain the desired form and thickness. Buttons are then finished by tumbling and drying. 

The representative button size used in this study is the ligne 24, which corresponds to 15.25 mm (5/8 inch) in diameter. The height considered in this study is 3 mm.

The buttons are packed in a small cardboard box (Tier 1 packaging, 160x130x85 mm) and then 10 small boxes are subsequently packed in a large cardboard box (Tier 2 packaging, 400x300x250 mm).
