Triple-glazed insulating glass unit (IGU) with uncoated and coated glass (4/12/4/12/4)
A triple-glazed insulating glass unit is made up of three 4 mm thick glass panes with spacer frames between them. The unit is hermetically sealed along its perimeter. The middle glass pane is uncoated, while the outer and inner glass panes are coated float glass. The space between the panes is filled with argon gas, and the unit features primary and secondary seals along with the spacer bars. The design, dimensions, glass coating and properties of the glass unit are selected by calculation, taking into account the application and specific performance characteristics.
