Plastomeric (APP-modified) Bituminous Membranes

The bituminous membranes under study are plastomeric waterproofing membranes obtained from distilled bitumen modified with thermoplastic (APP) polymers and reinforced by a non-woven polyester or a fiberglass. The upper surface of the membrane is protected with either mineral slate flakes, polyethylene high density or aluminium foil (fishbone shape). The products are applied per 1m2 and supplied in kg/m2. The upper surface protection along with the different thickness, offer a variety of bituminous options per brand name.
