Monolithic and continuous module skylights
This LCA study refers to the production of skylights characterized by:
- a compact polycarbonate (PC) dome,
- a multiwall (alveolar) polycarbonate velarium used to increase the thermal transmittance of the dome,
- an aluminium opening frame,
- a steel safety grid,
- a base with a structural steel core and a polyurethane (PU) insulation panel, which can be produced in different heights or may also be absent in certain manufactured systems.
