Asphalt mixtures from Lökebo and Vagnhärad asphalt plant (with PMB)

Asfaltsgruppen’s asphalt mixtures are produced at the Lökebo and Vagnhärad plants and consist primarily of coarse and fine aggregates, bitumen (polymer-modified), mineral filler, and—where relevant—quality aggregate, reclaimed asphalt (RAP), and an adhesion promoter (Wetfix).

Production includes drying and heating aggregates, conveying to the mixing tower, then batch-mixing metered bitumen, filler, RAP and Wetfix to achieve the specified recipe. These mixtures are used as wearing, binder, and base courses in road and street pavements, serving projects from large traffic works to small private jobs.
