The product covered in this EPD is structural softwood plywood manufactured by MARUTAMA Plywood Co., Ltd.The plywood is produced using larch (Larix kaempferi) and fir (Abies sachalinensis) sourced from Hokkaido, Japan.
All logs used are legally verified and comply with the Clean Wood Act and related legality verification systems.
The company holds SGEC/PEFC Chain of Custody (CoC) certification, ensuring that the wood originates from responsibly managed forests.
The structural plywood provides high mechanical strength and dimensional stability, making it suitable for a variety of construction applications such as shear walls, subflooring,roofing, and structural sheathing.
