PS Collar

The PS Collar consists of a graphite-based intumescent strip enclosed in metallic housing. This housing serves as a rigid boundary that guides intumescent expansion during fire exposure. By preventing outward movement, the metallic housing forces the material to expand inward, generating the mechanical pressure required to crush the softening pipe and seal the penetration against fire.

Application:

The PS Collar provides fire-stopping for penetrations in fire-rated walls and floors. The product seals combustible, multilayer pipes, and cable bundles, maintaining full integrity even in complex configurations. It is specifically designed for angled penetrations, pipe bundles, and elbow installations where services are not perpendicular to the structure.
