Arable and vegetable crops

The validity period of this PCR (version 1.0.3) was extended from 2025-06-07 to 2026-06-07 due to the delay of the PCR development for food and beverage products.

This document provides Product Category Rules (PCR) for the assessment of the environmental performance of arable crops and vegetables and the declaration of this performance by an EPD. The product category corresponds to UN CPC 011, 012, 014, 017 and 019.

Included in these product groups are cereals, vegetables, oilseeds, pulses and forage products. Pseudocereals, although not included in any CPC group, have to be considered arable crops and therefore included in this product group. See the PCR for further description of its scope.

This PCR replaced two expired PCRs: PCR 2013:05 Arable crops and PCR 2011:20 Vegetables.
